What are the processing fees?

Just Stripe's standard rate: 2.9% + $0.30 per transaction. Apprentice doesn't add any extra fees on top.

How do deposits work?

You set the deposit amount (flat fee or percentage). When a client books, they pay the deposit via Stripe. Non-refundable by default, but you can set your own refund policy.

Can I still accept cash?

Absolutely. Log cash, Venmo, Zelle, or any other payment method manually. Everything shows up in your revenue dashboard.

How fast do I get paid?

Card payments are deposited to your bank account on Stripe's standard schedule — usually 2 business days.

What about tips?

Clients can add a tip at checkout. You set the suggested tip percentages. Tips are included in your payout.

Do clients need an account to pay?

No. Clients pay through a simple checkout page. No app download or account creation required.
