What is a managed artist?
A managed artist is a profile your shop creates for an artist who hasn't signed up for Apprentice yet. Your shop controls the profile, takes bookings for them, and holds their schedule — until the artist is ready to claim it themselves.
Can an artist take over their profile later?
Yes. When an artist is ready to join Apprentice, they can claim their profile. The shop hands it off cleanly — the booking history, schedule, and client info all transfer to the artist's account.
Who handles compliance for a managed artist?
